Over the years we have made many styles of garden gates. Pretty well anything goes as far as design is concerned for the garden, although, the standard picket gate, featheredge gate, closeboard gate and boarded gates stay popular. All our timber garden gates are designed and made by us in our own workshop to a very high standard and are very good value in comparison to other gates on the market.
Our most popular garden gate, is our featheredge side entrance gate. See also drive gates Made with fully planed and sanded 3"x2" or 4"x2"framework, incorporating a gravel board and sanded featheredge boards, with a straight or bow top capping. We usually install these gates as a 3ft wide x 6ft high, side entrance gate, against the house wall, leading to the rear garden. We use 5"x5" posts as standard and wall plates when necessary. All timber is pressure treated for long life. Very good value for the money.
Our tongue and groove boarded gate is an option to our featheredge gate.
This gate is not pressure treated and will need staining and waterproofing to stop it swelling during the winter months. We now make this gate with pressure treated timber.
Our top quality picket gates are made with 3"x2" framework incorporating a gravel board and 3"x1" pickets, round or pointed tops. Pressure treated.
Gate furniture includes, all galvanized, heavy duty hinges, ring-pull latches and padbolts.
