Our 'Garden Hurdle' as a dog proof fence
Gate to match the 'Garden Hurdle'
We are the original makers of the "Garden Hurdle". Our hurdle is made from sawn pressure treated softwood and based on the old- fasioned ash sheep hurdle.
The six cross bars are spaced with smaller gaps at the bottom of the hurdle to prevent smaller animals passing through and are morticed into the uprights to make a strong, long lasting hurdle for use in the field or garden.
These hurdles can be nailed or tied together to make pens for dogs, chickens, sheep etc or permanently positioned on posts to make a good looking fence.
