Painted gates
Some of our customers prefer their gates painted which we usually do before the gates are installed. The traditional white painted entrance gates are very appealing, although any relevant colour looks pretty good.

Preparation is important before a top coat is applied. All timber is planed and sanded and a primer is applied to seal the grain. We use a quality undercoat before the top coat is applied, which will enable your gates to last many years.
The gate furniture we use with our painted gates is usually galvanized which we acid-etch prior to painting black or we paint the furniture the same colour as the gates.
